How do I book? Please see our how to book page.
Is vehicle insurance included? Yes we insure the vehilce, see details in our Terms and Conditions (pdf file) 25-75yrs for Retro & 23-75yrs T5s & T6s.
Are there any restrictions with the insurance? Yes, see details in Terms and Conditions eg. age, 6+ points,+2 accidents etc enquire if you are not sure.
Who can drive the camper? Whoever we agree, who has signed the booking form & provided the relevant documentation, see Terms and Conditions
How do I pick up my camper? Collection from our premises (see link below) you may leave your car with us.
How long will it take to pick up my camper? Around 30 mins.
What if I break down? 24 hr assistance from John & RAC cover.
What type of fuel do they use? Modern campers T5 & T6 run on diesel, Retros run on unleaded.
Will my child seat fit? Yes they have 3 point seat belt fittings, they do not have Isofix.
Can we take our bikes? Yes bike racks are available to hire, please see camper specification for more details. Bikes are not allowed in the camper.
Where can I leave my car? We have plenty of free inside safe storage where we house our campers for your car.
Do you have automatic transmission - no all our camper are manual transmission.
Where are you located? Ilkley for holiday hire, West Yorkshire, gateway to the Dales, North of Leeds, within very easy reach of Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate & York.

What is the mileage limit? Modern T5 & T6, 150 miles per day of hire and Retro, 100 miles per day of hire, 35p a mile thereafter. We do not accept excesive mileage hires, we are offering a camping holiday and will only accept hires which we feel will suceed.
How many miles per gallon? We estimate 40 mpg modern T5 & T6 & 25-35 mpg Retro.
Are they difficult to drive? The Retro ones are a unique fun / challenging driving experience whereas the modern T5 & T6 campers drive like most modern vehicles.
Is there a heater? Yes with the electric hookup (it really works!) A must in winter!
How many do they sleep? 4 people (2 adults & 2 children or 3 adults) see each camper for details.
Can I bring my dog? Yes on application, there is a charge of £25 per hire.
What do I need to bring? Pillows, sleeping bags and or quilt with under sheet, toiletries, keep packing to a minimum.
What cooking and eating utensils are provided? They are fully equipped for 4/5 people, inc salt & pepper, tea towels, wahing up liquid.
Can we go abroad? We can accept European travel, charges will apply, hire must be for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Are my personal belongings insured? Not by our insurance, but your household or travel policy should cover you.
Can I bring my hairdryer? Yes the electric hook-up provides power to the 240v sockets.
Do we need to book campsites? Yes it is advisable to book your campsite, it is not legal in England or Wales to wild camp. See our campsites page.
