Howgill Campsite Appletreewick, Nr Grassington.
A nice quiet site with great views and 30 mins walk along the river to 2 local food pubs.
Wood Nook Caravan Park Grassington.
A well organised quiet campsite, on the edge of the Dales, handy for Grassington.
Old Station Campsite Masham.
Very level campsite with on site cafe. In walking distance of Masham where the Black Sheep and Theakstons Brewery tours are worth a visit and an ice cream parlour a short drive away.
Knight Stainforth Campsite Settle.
One of the old favorites situated next to the river Ribble with a 3 mile walk along the river to Settle, a very popular town
They have recently opened a restaurant on site which is good value and comes highly recommended.
Sleningford Watermill Caravan Park Ripon.
Situated next to the river Ure with a short walk to one of the best top 10 pubs in North Yorkshire.
Woodhouse Campsite Ripon.
A very well maintained family site with a good restaurant and bar on site.
Poplar Farm York.
This lovely campsite is situated on the river Ouse with boat trips in to York city.
Riverside Caravan Park Bentham.
This is an unusal place, you would normally just drive through this town but do take some time to stop and enjoy the many eateries and pubs. It has a great atmosphere and is situated close to Clapham & Ingleton.
East Yorkshire Coast
Middlewood Farm Campsite Robin Hoods Bay.
Ideally situated 30 mins walk to Robin Hoods Bay just off the disused railway which runs from Scarborough to Robin Hoods Bay.
Lady Cross Plantation Park Whitby.
Set in 30 acres of mature woodland with access for woodland walking. 5 miles from the historic coastal port of Whitby.
The Lakes
Skelwith Fold campsite Ambleside.
Set in 130 acres of woodland with an abundance of wildlife near to Lake Windermere, a 15 minute walk to Ambleside.
Northumberland
Dunstan Hill Alnwick.
This is a great area for fresh seafood. Well situated to visit the area with cottage industy fish mongers and many interesting places to visit. A very quiet unspoilt area of Britain.
Haltwhistle C&C Situated between the top of the North Yorkshire Dales & Kielder Forest.
This is a great area in a good location for a stop off en-route to Scotland.
Barnard Castle C&C County Durham, at the top of the North Yorkshire Dales.
Barnard Castle is a thriving town, well worth a visit, it has a feel good factor.
